Note: Cottages are privately owned by summer residents and are not a part of the marina business; the only connection is that the marina is used for check-in, check-out. Therefore, cottage rental fees cannot go thru the marina credit card machine.  We accept CAD CASH ONLY, paid in full at time of check-in.

* SEASON: May 15 to Oct 15, unless otherwise advised, online or email.

* BOOKINGS BEGIN: FEBRUARY 1 of current year only; no prior reservations.

* ALL BOOKINGS IN JULY and AUGUST are by the WEEK ONLY (Sat to Sat).

* CHECK-IN by 2:00 pm and CHECK-OUT by 10:00 am, at Kelsey's Marina, Charleston Village.

- bookings accepted by email only; in writing; Find your cottage and your dates and click on This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it to begin booking process.  You will be informed at that time of what to do next.

- bookings are confirmed in order of date/time received; there is sometimes a lag between contact and booking that may not show up immediately on online calendar.

- Please note that online calendar shows NIGHTS that you have booked; ie, day of check-out will not include that night of departure on calendar unless booked by someone else for the next week.

- Keep checking for cancellations on your preferred dates; we do not notify of cancellation openings.

- Cottage Keys must not be left in cottages; please return to Marina upon check-out.

- Note, the Marina is open from 9:00 to 5:00 daily; check-ins and check-outs as well as boat taxi's before or after these times must be pre-arranged;those not complying with prescribed times will be assessed extra charges of $20/hr in addition to rental and/or taxi rate, due to employee needing to wait for you.

- shorter time frames may be booked for May, June, Sept, Oct, only if not otherwise booked for the week.

- shorter time frames are priced at regular rate divided by 7, plus $50.

- please confirm shorter time frames by email only.

*After you have chosen your cottage and confirmed dates as being available using online calendar for that cottage, send email requesting that cottage/dates. A confirmation number and instructions as to where to mail the two required forms will be emailed to you:

- Use regular snail mail to mail forms, nothing fancy like return-receipt, etc.

- Both forms must be fully filled-out, signed, and mailed within two weeks of email confirmation, or reservation will not be accepted.

Kayak'ers and Canoeists: Sorry, but while we don't mind you using your kayaks/canoes to get to the cottages, but for safety-sake, it will be necessary to have alternate plans for windy days, arrival and departure days. We are not responsible for your safety, should anything unforseen happen.

PLEASE BRING WATER SHOES FOR SWIMMING DUE TO ZEBRA MUSSEL INFESTATION IN SOME AREAS OF CHARLESTON LAKE, and WATCH YOUR DOGS' FEET!

WHAT ABOUT GARBAGE, PETS, PARKING, etc? Truck/car/trailer parking can be arranged at marina upon check-in.  Please either take your trash with you or give to attendant at marina upon check-out; $4/bag service.

PETS are allowed at most cottages, must be declared upon booking, and responsible ownership/pickup will be expected.  Should droppings or damage occur, we will be forced to use your credit card for damages to reimburse cottage owner.

THE ISLAND COTTAGES: THERE ARE NO BRIDGES TO THE ISLANDS!!
